Scrap Giveaway

I have scraps that I know I don't have time to cut down.  You see, I'm going to be a Nana in a couple of weeks.  So that is #1 on my list. Erin has asked me to come down for a few days and well, ...... yeah!!!

Also,  Abby is back at IUP to work a five-week theater camp.  She called on Friday to tell me she was at the walk-in clinic and that her tonsils were all icky again.... second time in less than two months.  So, worst case scenario, I will have to go and get her, get her to a doctor here, and if need be.... get them out before she has to go back in August.

And once again I turned the sewing table back to facing the window and put the flap down.  I hate having the flap down... it limits the space upon which to rest project pieces.  However I don't like having the flap up because it eats up floor space.

So in order to clean up some more space, I have decided that all of the pieces I have saved to "cut down later" (like later is really gonna happen) I have decided to stuff it all in a box (not a big one mind you) and let someone else have fun with them.

So if you are interested leave a comment.  I'll draw a number on Friday and get it out ASAP (Domestic only please).

Have a great  day!

Even though I prob have more scraps than I should, I'm trying to put together baby quilts for coworker(working on 21 right now). I'd be happy to take them off your hands!!

I'm a new quilter with very little stash so I'd be thrilled to take those off your hands so you can focus on the grand baby!

I don't know what it is about other peoples scraps....but they are so fun. I hope I win. I actually find cutting the fabrics to the sizes I stash very soothing. Thanks for the opportunity! Tonsils...yuck! Toni

First congrats and good luck to Erin.
Second I had the same tonsil trouble at age 19. Try and get them out before she has to go back to school, but leave extra time because recovery is a bit longer when you getthem out as an adult. Plus I had been on antibiotics constantly and one was still infected. Yuck.
Good luck with everything.

Hi--we Canadian quilters love scraps, bits and pieces as well. Most happy to help out with the postage as I know mailing gets expensive to cross the USA/Cdn border. Love the diversity as I am a scrap quilter.
Congrats to the lucky person!!!!!

Now that is a good trick, giving away all of your scraps and starting fresh! Sounds like a win-win to me.
