I know I had it....

I know I bought this..... anyone know where I put it?????

I guess after school is done, I'll need to rip and tear and put away in the sewing room.... but if I'm going to do that, I'm going to have a new floor put down and get the ratty old carpet out.

Bonnie is going to think I'm nuts.

You really needed to know this didn't you :o)

Just had the same experience of not being able to find my extra pair of scissors. I searched the lost and found at the quilt shop where I took a class and cleared everything off my sewing table only to find the scissors where I last left them--in one of my sewing bags.

Hope the end of the school year goes smoothly for you. 19 days and counting for me!

I was just at my friend's house helping her unpack. We have a pact that whoever dies last has to deal with the other's sewing/quilting supplies for the family. It's a good thing because half of our stuff is in each other's sewing room! I was unpacking books wondering why she had some duplicate of mine. Then I opened them and saw that they were mine! I haven't missed them at all and put them on her book shelf.

Did you read Bopnnie's latest post, where she finally found the long lost bluetooth thingie for her cell phone buried under a pile of fabrics? Just pretend you don't really want the darned book & it will appear.

Lately all I have been doing is looking for things. Books, patterns, a piece of fabric. Your book will show up and you will either ask yourself how the heck it got there or you will say to yourself, oh ya I remember putting it there now. :)

Sounds as though we all belong together. I've been working on a charity quilt and had cut all the pieces of the quilt I was making out. I kept all the pieces together. Now that I'm sewing everything together, I can't find the setting triangles needed before the first border. I'm approaching my deadline, and now I have to come up with another color because those blasted triangles have disappeared for good!
