and another one bites the dust...That's why I buy the green Black and Decker at Walmart and save the package. If it dies, then I just take it back with the receipt and get a new one...
Sorry, can't do without a machine.
I trash irons so fast!! Knock them off my board. Forget to use a press cloth with fusible. The ways I can wreck them go on and on. Sorry asbout your loss tho.
I hate when the iron dies. I love my Rowenta. Nothing gets as hot or steams like it. Sorry yours bit the dust.
Oh drats...drag out the old standby, I bet it works just grand! As for the snow day...we have one left before we give up summer days, fortunately our big snow on Monday came on a day off...gotta love the President's Day :>)! Have a good week, although I heard the snow word in regards to Friday's weather!
Unfortunately, Rowentas aren't like they used to be. Sigh....
AWWW - so sorry to hear of your loss :o( Road trip to get a new one???Judie
I've got the identical Rowenta pictured; I "resurrected" it once by putting a new plug on it, but lately it doesn't seem to be getting as hot as it used to and I fear the end is near. I've read the new Rowentas aren't as good; some say the Made in Germany models are better than the Made in China models, but they are getting harder and harder to find. I'm hunting for a replacement for when my iron dies. I'm gonna miss that old work-horse!
I am on my third Rowenta. I am not very impressed with them, but every time one dies, my Mom buys me another. LOL
Sorry to hear about your Rowenta. I've had mine about a year, with good luck so far. You must live close to me if you shop at Traditions and Sew 'n Place!
