I DO NOT Want a snow day

So........ the big storm is coming. I am hearing rumors that some are predicting an early dismissal tomorrow and a snow day on Wednesday.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

You see, we only have ONE day off in January, ONE day off in February, and ONE day off in March. Easter is late this year. Losing one of those days would make an awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwfully long stretch without a break.

And besides, I did not put a snow day in my lesson plans for this week.... so it won't happen............... right??????

I'm a nurse and don't want a snow day; people call off and then the assignments stink. It makes for a very long day and bad driving!

totally...if you don't have a snow day in the day planner, it won't happen...

I'm not sure whether I want a snow day or not. . . I could use the time to work on my UFO pieces.

Good luck with that. Tell them it has to be -50 in Alaska before they close school. -20 for inside recess. LOL

Love the pics of the snowflakes though

What!!! You have to give up your scheduled days off in exchange for a snow day?? The international schools here give the assignments over the internet so there is no snow day, you just don't have to go to the school building.

Our snow days typically are added to the end of the school year. As a teacher in '79 I NEEDED 5 days to change the dates of final exams so I could attend my husband's graduation from dental school. I guess I overdid the prayers because that year we got 10 snow days.

I am getting tired of snow too... usually we get very little during the winter. This winter and last have been horrible

I'm with you, Nancy! I've got too much to do at school to have a snow day. However, I would take a two-hour delay. . .

No snow, it's not in your plan! They're calling for snow here tonight, guaranteeing a poopy commute to work tomorrow. So... I brought work home with me so I can telework if it looks too bad.

Snow days and hurricanes never come when you need them. Hope it all ends up working out. Maybe you will be able to get a little sewing done.
