Going to have to do some shopping to get this one finished.
I finished my #3 last night! And, coincidentally, I bought fabric for binding #8 while I was out earlier today, before I saw this post!
I'm sewing binding down at the moment on #3 and have just been to dig out February's UFO! Yay for almost finished! Now to find a backing for #8! Thanks for the early warning Nancy!
I am working on mu UFO's too...honest!!!
I quilted #3 and prepared the binding. I hope to put it on tonight and hand stitch it tomorrow to get it done by tomorrow night!
Yikes -- #8 is a huge one! #3 is all done, so I'll start pulling out North Pacific and figuring out where I left off. Maybe it's not as scary as I think it is.
Yay! Number eight is smaller than #3! I am working on #8 but I may not finish until about Feb 2. Ran out of thread, overcommitted myself for January, etc, etc. No matter what, I am much further along than I would be if I hadn't accepted this challenge! Toni
This is excited. I've been jumping ahead a bit and have two of my UFO's finished.
Thanks, Nancy - I've still got last month's to do :o( Day off from school for you today??Judie
The furthest I got on #3 was cutting batting for it. I am going to have to buy another bolt of batting to work on #8 - I used the last of mine for #3 and another that was small. I wouldn't have even had enough for this quilt - it is huge. Here's to hoping Joanns has a good coupon going on!
Actually I've finished 8 UFO's from January through February 1. I'm now working on two more, kinda simultanously. I'm ready to go quilt one of those--a table topper. I finished piecing the placemats to complete the set. (My #8 UFO was finished 1-18). I know I'm jumping around, but I so want to play with something new soon! (my #3 is still at the quilter).
