Happy Thanksgiving !!

The turkey is in the oven and I have nothing to do until I need to peel the potatoes soooooooooooo...........

I pulled out my Old Tobacco Road quilt pieces from the Bonnie Hunter mystery ... was it 2008???

This is what I have together so far. I was rather daunted by this task when I saw all the pieces, and the diagonal rows, but now that I have some of it together I really like it. I just take it one row at a time, hang it on the wall and then put some of them together.

and really I do have some school stuff to do, but I figured that can wait a couple of days.... I don't go back until Wednesday.

Happy Quilty/Turkey Hugs!!!

I think the main advantage of doing the mysteries is keeping up with the steps as they come out is motivation to power through steps that seem too scary when you see them coming. You colors look fabulous, the bright little pinwheels really sparkle in all the fall bricks.

Wow, that is just gorgeous!! I love that quilt...I did not do it exactly like Bonnie, but I sure enjoy seeing someone's quilt with all those pinwheels!

Late, but need to comment. Hum, how many people live in your house??? And, exactly why do you need to peel the potatoes? Hum, girl, spread the jobs... makes everything go faster. I can't remember the last time I peeled the potatoes. Usually DS does it cause he loves mashed potatoes. Your OTR looks great. Hope this school year is going great -- second year of teaching a level is always easier than the first...
