How to create a guild directory.....

My guild has decided that we want to add photographs of our members to the directory. I volunteered to help out with the project and needless to say I am a little frustrated.

I have started to build it in EXCEL, but that would mean that alphabetizing it and then adding to it would be a nightmare.

Anyone know of an easier way to do this???

Nancy, Excel 2007 has a "convert to table" feature that will enable sorting on different criteria. Email me separately and I walk you through it.

Why would adding to it be a nightmare? You sort your lists and it can re-alphabetize it. You don't actually have to put anything in order.

I'm not sure if you are starting from scratch? Copying & Pasting from a different program?

If building in Excel, alphabetizing will be easy-peasy, so maybe I'm overlooking what exactly you need to do? Otherwise, when setting it up in Excel---be sure to have one column for last name and one column for first name. Now---the pictures??? That's another task altogether. Email me off-blog and we'll see if we can figure this out together...
