Can you say........ Roof Work???

If nothing else, this storm has showed us we need to insulate more in the attic and probably, definitely, look into getting the roof replaced. These killer ice spears are not a good thing to find hanging off of the house.

On a positive (non school) note, I did take some time today and make binding for Beth's mouse quilt. It is on by machine so I just have to hand sew it down. It felt good to fondle some fabric.

Quilty Hugs!

That snow and those icicles are incredible! That's one heck of a storm.

We have really long icicles like that but they are from the leaf guard gutters. Chris has so much insulation in our attic that you would drown if you tried to walk around up there! I love the icicles and was actually able to get some drip photos earlier today.

I LOVE icicles!!! We had 39 inches of snow last year at one point, and a couple of good freezes. This year, nada. In fact I am about 30 miles south of where the Winter Olympics skiing events are supposed to take place, so we could really use some cold weather.....

Ooooo....those are the type of icicles that kids just wanna break off and lick, lick, lick!

I'm happy you had a chance (even if a LITTLE) to get in some quilting.

And good luck on your Jelly Roll challenge/quilt-along. I am actually PASSING IT UP!!! ((gasp)) THAT'S a first!

Happy Almost Weekend
