Orange Crush Flimsy Finished

I finally finished my Orange Crush top. This was the second mystery posted by Bonnie Hunter. I wasn't too sure about it until it was all together. I thought the pink and green were going to be too 'loud'.

Originally I wanted to do a scrappy border but my brain just couldn't make it work. So i decided to take what fabric I had left and do straight borders. I think it looks pretty good.

Now for a name......... I'm thinking Key Lime Pie....... any suggestions?

WOW Nancy, I like it...Key Lime Pie ~ cute name for the quilt! My brain is just so about "traditional" that I always lean that way...but I truly like your colors, they just SING together! Thank you for sharing with us!

Love your Orange Crush. It's a lot like mine; I used lime as well. I'm not quite finished though. Will you be doing Bonnie's new mystery starting New Year's Eve?

Key Lime Pie is a good name...or maybe "Something Sherbert" (put a word in place of something.....like raspberry-lime or something like that). It's very pretty...I like it a lot.

I really like you key lime pie. I still have one orange crush top to put borders on myself, and now a new mystery to start. So much for those UFO resolutions for the new year.

Lime Sherbet used to be a favorite flavor of mine. Great quilt. Key Lime Pie sounds good as a name too. I run out of creativity when it comes to names. I'm usually so happy to just FINISH that forget worrying about the name. Congratulations.

When I saw your quilt top I saw fried green tomatoes or green tomato relish. whatever the name, the quilt is great.

Key Lime Pie sounds perfect for that one! I used what appears to be the same lime green color as you, but still call mine Orange Crush because I also used Orange as the main color.

WOW! 'Bout time you get it done! (giggle) It's only been a few months since it's been over :0)......

So...DoubleDelight being added to your list this year?
Happy Friday
