Great book series

I discovered a series of books by Debbie Macomber. The stories center around a yarn shop, the different women who visit, their lives and how they interact. It sort of reminds me of the Elm Creek books but the Blossom Street books are about knitting. I want to learn how to knit...... in my spare time. I have this unusual urge to knit socks!!!

I've not come across these books, but I too have an urge to knit socks. Why? I've been looking for patterns and yarn, but not committed yet.

I might have to add these books to my library! Thanks for telling me about them. I do love the Elm Creek ones.

Thanks Nancy for the heads-up on the books, I enjoy series books! I actually TRIED knitting once, hysterical sweater for my hubby was the end result, IF ONLY HE HAD GORILLA ARMS -- the sleeves were extremely long :>D , I think I maybe did something wrong!

Knitting socks is a fun portable project! Though you might want to start with something straight rather than circular.
